Training schedule for 50km cycle in 4 months?

I'm new to cycling-- I'm of a moderate fitness level although I do battle my asthma.
I'm doing the Sean Kelly Cruise (50km) in 4 months and I am looking for a good week by week training schedule. Any place I can find something like this? Suggestions?
I know its not that long of a ride, really, but I want to be able to complete it with ease (instead of completing it and feeling like its the hardest thing I've ever done)-- I'm not opposed to having done a significant ride before the day of, either

I would try to ride 5k twice a week and ride 10k on the weekend

By the three week you should be able to ride 10 twice a week and 20 k on the weekend.

Then you want to take a few days off and ride

By the 6 week I would do 15k twice a week which is just 10miles and then you could ride 30k on the weekends

Bikes Riding is all about using you bike on a daily bais so on the day of you all you need to go all out and before you ridden 50k before you know it.

Have Fun While You are training. Make that you look around and see the trees landscape as you ride try to on back road that do not have so much car traffic
