MGM held responsible for reliable Vhs Cassette Cleaners?

I have a lot of Classic Movies that are still NOT available on DVD or Netflix or Blockbuster. Yet, I was about to purchase a Kinyo VHS cassette cleaner, until I read the terrible reviews. I went to MGM Home Video website, there wasn't a contact them site. Why have they not been made responsible to make reliable VHS cleaners' since all of their VHS have blockers' so you cannot record the movie?

To answer part of your question, JVC invented VHS, and had a few tricks up their sleeve. Very few people know this, it was not advertised by them, but I was a top JVC salesman and was friends with top factory rep's.

Older JVC VCR's had the abilty to defeat most copyright protection while recording. It still may be true, I haven't tried it in years. You play the tape from any machine, and record it on a top of the line JVC, that would mean a 4 head hi-fi stereo machine.

In my area you can buy them in pawn shops for as little as $20, I have bought 3. If you still want to make back-up copies, try that.
