what is the difference between internal TV card and external USB video tape coverter to PC?
I suppose, both can accept video tape, camcorder input and then show or record them.
what is the befits of each devices and have you got any recommends?
Internal TV card has TV Tuner which means you can watch TV on your PC without any external TV source using the S-Video/RCA connector... it could also be use to convert video from VHS/VCR player, DVD player etc...
as for External USB video tape converter, it doesn't have any TV Tuner, thus you could only watch & record videos from video sources such as camcorder, VHS/VCR player, DVD player etc...
there are lots of brand out there... as long as you stick with known brand such as Hauppauge, Pinnacle so that you could easily get update on drivers & software etc...
