To Play The Guitar
The teach yourself to play the guitar is one of life's pleasure's, weather you like the dulcet tones of a classical guitar, the rich and bright tones of a twelve string or maybe you would like to plug in to a Marshall amplifier and bang out a few rock riffs, whatever your choice in guitar or music tastes, there is something for every budding guitarist.
Learning to play any musical instrument, weather it be the piano, the violin or the guitar means you have to start somewhere, learning out of a book can be arduous, boring and frustrating because You Are unfamiliar with the notation legends that are used to show what needs to be played, these notations can differ from publisher to publisher.
Locating and taking lessons with an experienced teachers is fraught with its own dilemmas, finding time to take the lesson when you want, being able to fit you in when its convenient for you, and can be an expensive exercise with very little progress results.
Carrying your pride and joy to and From Home to where your lesson is to be conducted can be a pain, especially if it not local and cannot drive.

Start with an acoustic to begin with; finger strength is acquired through the pressing down on acoustic guitar strings, as it is more difficult to press down on them rather than an electric model.
Always play a guitar before purchasing as you can gauge if it is right for you, there is a guitar for everyone so choose wisely.
